Dr. Randal Haworth Accused of Drug Use, Watching Porn During Surgery

Dr. Randal Haworth, a plastic surgeon based in Beverly Hills who featured on TV shows like Fox The Swan, has been charged with illicit drugs usage and viewing pornographic movies and videos showing beheadings during his surgeries.

Based on a proposed amended complaint filed in LA Supreme Court on Friday, Haworth on a regular basis played hardcore porn and videos showing graphic and extreme violence, like actual beheadings, on a monitor, on in the background during some of his surgeries.

Laura Day, a former patient who initially filed a malpractice lawsuit in January 2017, also claimed in the new filing. Based on the latest Deposition of Haworth’s former surgical adviser, the surgeon did not disclose that he was having problems with his vision, especially his depth perception, following treatment of an eye.

The brand new court filing also accused Haworth of regularly and unlawfully, using the painkiller Percocet, including before and during his performance of surgical procedures. The brand new complaint indicated that he on a regular basis used other illicit drugs, like cocaine and MDMA, commonly referred to as Ecstasy.

Additionally, A new altered claim accused Haworth of forging patient consent forms so as to maintain his medical accreditation and charged that he regularly bullied unhappy patients who whined about his work.

Speaking to TheWrap via telephone, Haworth denied the accusations, calling them preposterous. He further said that they might as well state that I murdered JonBené, t Ramsey.

He refused to elaborate further on the particular accusations, except to state truth will ultimately prevail.

Haworth has a roster of customers that reportedly contains Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, star Lisa Rinna.

He was cast as one of the resident surgeons on Fox The Swan, a 2004 reality show that chronicled 16 women as they underwent extensive plastic surgery and counseling.

The show was canceled after two seasons because of a decrease in rating and continued critique for normalizing cosmetic surgery. Haworth has also appeared as a professional on CBS The Doctors.

Day claimed that she was severely injured during the procedure performed by Haworth three years ago. In her lawsuit, Day said that she was mentally impaired for months after the operation and was permanently disfigured.

In her new court filing, Day’s attorney, Chris Rudd, said that he was in the midst of handling what he believed was a typical, malpractice lawsuit over and procedure gone wrong. Haworth’s former surgical assistant and adviser came forward with accusations of misconduct which were included in the proposed amended complaint.

Reached by telephone, Rudd said he will be looking for very substantial damages for her injuries and punitive damages for the fraud and intentional torts, as well as restitution and a ban.
